Privacy Policy

Overview
DragDrop26 is a macOS menu bar utility for stashing files, photos, and links. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is used.
Data We Do Not Collect
DragDrop26 does not collect, transmit, or share:
- Personal information or identifiers
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- File names, file contents, or metadata
- Location data
- Any data sent to our servers — because we have none
How Your Files Are Handled
All files and links you stash remain entirely on your Mac. DragDrop26 operates within Apple's App Sandbox, which restricts access to only the files and folders you explicitly grant permission to. No file content ever leaves your device.
Local Storage
DragDrop26 stores your stash list and preferences locally using macOS standard storage (UserDefaults and your local file system). This data never leaves your Mac.
Web Content Downloads
When you drag a URL or web content into the app, DragDrop26 may fetch that content directly from the source URL to save it locally. These requests go directly from your Mac to the source server — DragDrop26 does not proxy, log, or store any record of these requests.
Third-Party Services
DragDrop26 does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app does not contain any SDKs that collect data.
Children's Privacy
DragDrop26 does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since no data is collected from anyone, no special handling is required.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
